Bernice

Foster or Adopt Bernice!!!! Bernice was found as a stray in Tulsa, OK and we got her out of the shelter to save her life! Bernice is the sweetest Smooth Coated Saint Bernard with such a puppy face! Currently located in Oklahoma but we Adopt, Foster and transport Nationwide!

Bernice is a 2-3 yr old, (Vet says she agrees she appears as a puppy by sight and temperament but teeth can be deceiving, so we never really know.) Our Vet felt 2-3 years was safe guesstimate. Improper nutrition, eating trash, improper care can cause a dog's teeth to appear older, it's not a great science but we always follow the guide of our vet.

Bernice came in extremely timid, obviously undersocialized and has gained confidence in spades from when she came in. Last week we were vacuuming at the facility which was obviously very foreign to her. She settled soon after but these are the things she needs exposure too, the real world around her. She also pancakes at trying to get in the car, but rides perfectly one inside. It's safe to say she was likely an outside dog until we took her in.

Bernice has the sweetest soul in her petite body. She was spayed and fully vetted last week, has been in multiple play groups and does amazing! She has also done extremely well with our mouser cats that are free roam at our facility!

She is dog, cat, kid and all people friendly but needs a home to help her thrive in the real world. Kennel trained and does great when kept on a routine. Is there a family out there that will help this girl gain confidence in the world and be a very beloved dog as she deserves?

Bernice has shown she can jump a 4ft fence, but never attempted our 6 ft chain link. She would need a 6ft fence or leash only home.
